Sex Therapy

Sex therapy is specifically intended to help resolve sexual difficulties. Depending on the type of problem and client, sex therapy may transition into more traditional psychotherapy or may end once the sexual problem has been resolved.

Sex therapy can take place with just an individual or with an individual and their partner(s).

Sex therapy does not involve physical contact or sexual activity among clients or the therapist. Any practical activities discussed in sex therapy are to be done in the privacy of the client’s own home.

Some sex therapy issues I treat include: arousal difficulties, low desire, discrepancy in sexual desire, performance anxiety, explorations of kink, exploration of consensual non-monogamy or polyamory.

Today, our sexuality is an open-ended personal project; it is part of who we are, an identity, and no longer merely something we do.
